2003 Highlights:
Since Nancy and I married 15 years ago, we have moved 7 times. We currently reside in White Rock, B.C. Nancy has a good sense of humour about it, but has informed me that I'll be on my own if we (I) move again!
I have been a Pilot with Air Canada since 1988 but before that spent several years building flying hours with small companies in Alberta and B.C. As it turns out Nancy was a flight attendant and ticket agent for one of those companies so I gained not only flying experience, but a wonderful wife.
Since working for Air Canada my routes have included domestic North American, Caribbean, Europe, and Asia. I was promoted to Captain 5 years ago, but with the recent turn of events in the aviation world and current down sizing at AC, I am flying as First Officer on an Air Bus 340. My favorite destination is Zurich, most mind boggling was Delhi, most inspirational Jerusalem, and most frequent until SARS was Hong Kong. Most of the time it's just good to be back home.
Nancy is a stay at home mom now which is a real benefit to me and the kids. She keeps things under control at home and a little continuity to our lifestyle.
We all enjoy the outdoors and have more interests than time it seems. Our latest project is the completion of a second home-built Kayak which we hope to use in the Gulf Islands this coming year.
We attend Mount Olive Lutheran Church in White Rock since moving here two years ago and have made it our church home.
Regretfully I only attended ECC for one year and lived in the dorm. Without a doubt, many of my best high school memories are of the friendships and acquaintances I made during that year. I look forward to the possibility of seeing any of you on my flight. Please say hello if you are.
