I taught at Eden, through the transitions years at Scottlea.

In 1997, I retired and we sold our place in Virgil

We went to serve in Kentucky under M.C.C. for 2 years. There , I taught adults - anything from basic literacy to High School diploma. I was also on maintenance at Hindman Settlement School.

Upon our return, we worked at Camp Crossroads for the winter.

In 2000, we moved to Port Rowan, to a 50 acre farm. Here, we designed and built our home, planted 20 acres of asparagus and an acre of raspberries.

We sold the farm in 2006, moved to a smaller acreage and began a renovation business. This is still keeping me busy at this time.

Probably the more important involvement, is in church and conference work. Presently, I am a member of the Leadership Council of the M.B. Conference of Ontario. I head up a small Home Group and am Chairman of the Board of the local MCC Thrift Shop.

Retirement is good and affords us time to travel - to Alaska, the Panama Canal, B.C, Africa and Israel. God has been very good to us, giving us good health and supplying all our needs. We want to give Him all the glory.
