2008 Highlights:
Moved to Portage la Prairie, MB in 1987 where we still reside, and have an open door for children coming and going.
Love spending time with my wife and children
Both children are now attending University. Jenessa has completed her 3rd year in Psychology, and Braden has completed his 2nd year in Engineering.
Julianne is an accomplished musician and teaches piano and voice. She has also spent a lot of time composing music and has published a book and many single pieces as well.
1983 – Present. Got involved in Retail lumber yard, and have continued to expand the business, and oversaw the opening of a new store in 1987 and large expansion in 2007.
1992 - Started Window and door manufacturing plant
Enjoy flying and had a personal aircraft for a number of years
Enjoy fine cars, (have a 66 Stingray), showing and cruising
Involved in our church – Portage Alliance
Have been involved in boards with YFC, local Chambers, Habitat, and enjoy volunteering in the community when I have the time for it.
Still love to play hockey, golf, travel, and cycling (road racing), all when I can find the time
2018 - Working on semi - retirement and starting to enjoy some new changes to my daily routine
2019 - Great year ahead. New grandson (first) in January. healthy baby boy - Jackson
- Started a new career in flying which has been a passion for me all my life. Working as a First Officer flying a Navajo. Loving it!
-Still semi retired. Bought an airplane with another business and church group. Planning on doing some northern reserve ministry work with the church and personal flying trips for myself. Living the dream!
